Where the Adriatic meets the rhythm of the world
The Pearly Sea International Dance Festival is one of the most prestigious and beloved dance gatherings on the Adriatic Riviera. Founded in 2007 in the fortified Old Town of Herceg Novi, Montenegro, the festival draws over 2,000 performers from 40+ countries to compete, collaborate, and celebrate the universal language of dance.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Kotor Bay and the ancient Kanli Kula Fortress, Pearly Sea transforms this picturesque coastal city into a living stage. From dawn workshops along the waterfront to twilight galas under star-strewn Montenegrin skies, every moment is choreographed for wonder.
The festival welcomes groups of all ages, disciplines, and experience levels. Whether you are a children's folk ensemble or a professional contemporary company, Pearly Sea has a stage for your story.
