OmniFestivals was born in the summer of 2017, not in a boardroom, but in the aftermath of the 10th edition of the Pearly Sea Festival in Herceg Novi, Montenegro. Our founder, Maja Petrović, watched hundreds of dancers from 30 countries leave the ancient fortress stage with tears in their eyes — not from exhaustion, but from connection.
She realized that the hard part wasn't the dancing. It was finding the festival, navigating the applications, arranging the travel, and trusting that the experience would be worth it. The barriers were too high. She set out to remove them.
Today, OmniFestivals is the world's most trusted platform for international dance festival participation — a curated, human-first bridge between extraordinary dance groups and the global stages they deserve.
